morning announcements

Today, Nov 11, is a very special day! It is Veterans Day. We want everyone to know how appreciative we are of all of our Military Veterans that have served our country. There are approximately 16-17 million living Veterans in the US. We are especially proud and thankful for the Veterans that we get to work with every day. So, a huge shout out to Chief Gary Stidham, Master Sergeant Mike Taft, Mrs. Rhonda Kendrick, Mr. Tom Lubens, and Mr. Frank Pippen. Be certain to thank them for their service today!!

Today is Veteran’s Day. We will honor our Veterans by creating a letter or card to send to the VA hospital and rehab in Johnson City during 2nd period. Please create a positive message to help these people be honored.

Extra-Curricular Feather- This week we are highlighting the Appreciation Club sponsors are Kelley Bible, Kandra Harmon, and Nick Collins. The A-Team- is the appreciation team.  We “appreciate “ a different group of people each month.  We do this by collecting Thank you notes, and sharing them. We make posters, announcements, give treat bags, etc. to show our appreciation. The G-force is also part of our Club.  The G-force uses monthly Quests and the Birthdate Challenge to spread kindness amongst our school Culture.  Both of these clubs are sponsored by Utrust Bank.

First Priority will meet Wednesday at 7:20 a.m. in the little theater. If we are on a 2 hour delay, we will meet at 9:20 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
