5th grade Core RTI has been studying how various solutions and mixtures create chemical changes that result in a chemical reaction. They tested the reaction of acids and bases combining by building a volcano and causing it to erupt.
5th grade science classes have been studying physical changes and the conservation of matter. Students used their knowledge to design their own dam, test it, and investigate if the amount of water changed as it flowed through the dam.
