Hawkins County School District -

Clinch School was selected to receive a $3,000 grant from Whole Kids Foundation.  Their application was selected from 1,300 applicants across the U.S. and Canada. The school plans to build a greenhouse and new raised beds.  Teacher Janice Duncan shared, “We are so excited to have opportunity to build a greenhouse and expand our school gardens.”  Director Matt Hixson added, “Our schools strive to provide additional learning opportunities for our students, and we are fortunate to have teachers like Ms. Duncan who take every opportunity to add unique educational projects for them.”
